Today's notable person is...Edgar Bergen. I remember him a little bit from my childhood only because my Dad loved to watch him. In fact my Dad introduced me to one of his writers, Zino Klinker, he sure was funny!
Edgar Bergen was a Ventriloquist and he lead the way for the new ventriloquists like Paul Winchell and Jeff Dunham.
